aliens poster
apparently that james cameron guy did this little movie called "aliens"
before he hit it big with "avatar". who knew?
joking aside, this is one of my all-time favorite movies. ever. and the queen is one of my all-time favorite movie monsters (stan winston, you devil!). you can imagine my glee 6 months ago when i found out that the ultra-cool colonial theatre in phoenixville, pa would be showing a print of aliens as part of their "first friday fright nights" film series on february 5, 2010!
with anticipation building over the past few months, i decided to approach the theatre and ask if they'd be cool with me creating a limited edition print that would debut at the showing. they were into the idea...and this is the result.
i can't wait for the movie and to see how the print is received!

Are you going to do one for the March feature "Zombie"? I'm sure that you could do something special with that.
Tom, it looks great, I've been drooling over it since I saw it in the Colonial marquee last week. If the show gets cancelled due to that "storm of the century" that's coming tomorrow night, I'll definitely drop you a line to grab one. Otherwise, see you tomorrow.
looks like the show will go on! i have every intention of being there to peddle my wares tonight.
and for those inquiring, yes, i will be doing a limited run poster for "zombie" as well as april's "the fly"...i'm just getting started, so stay tuned!

as i mentioned earlier, if i didn't sell out of posters at the show, i'd put them up for grabs. well, the blizzard that engulfed the east coast last night put a dent in attendance at the theater and i have some posters left over.

A friend from the theater got me 2 And they're more awesome in person, the only tiny problem is the size... i thought they were bigger but the detail the quality of the paper and the print is amazing plus I received a little surprise IT IS SIGNED and NUMBERED! Beautiful work Tom, thanks! I'm more than a happy customer!
