nicktoons: invader zim
yet another page from my nicktoons calendar, this time it's "invader zim"!
here's another show that i've never seen an episode of, but hear great things about.
this is actually the second draft of the illustration. the first was rejected because the composition wasn't "in-your-face" enough. i'm glad the art directors pushed me... i feel like this version turned out much stronger.

Yeah, that's Zim all right - captures the energy quite well.
If you ever do decide to watch the show, I'd suggest taking it in small chunks, maybe a couple episodes at a time rather than a marathon. It's a lot to take in all at once.
